TDS measures the weight of minerals, not their quality, and our filter is designed to condition hard water rather than remove it. This gives you the benefits of softer water without the wastage caused by lowering TDS.
How do I install it?
It's a 2-minute DIY install — unscrew your existing hand shower, wrap the provided Teflon tape around the connector threads, and screw the Hand Shower Filter Ultra on by hand. No plumber or tools required. Message us on WhatsApp if you need a hand.
Does it work with hot water?
Yes. KDF-55 is the only filtration media that remains fully effective across hot water temperatures, so both cartridges keep performing whether you shower hot or cold (effective range: 5°C–80°C).
When should I replace the cartridges?
Every 4–6 months, or after roughly 40,000 litres, whichever comes first — for both cartridges. Replacement cartridges for each stage are sold separately.
