Everyone who has used a camping stool knows the shuffle — the conversation moves, or the fire does, and you end up half-standing and dragging the stool round. The seat here turns a full 360° on its centre joint while the legs stay planted, so you swing round and stay sitting. 2.5 cm of cushioning.

Material & Build
Frame — carbon steel on three splayed legs, rated to 100 kg. The wider three-point base is what keeps it steady on grass, sand and uneven ground where a three-leg tripod tips.
Seat — 600D Oxford over 2.5 cm of cushioning, the thickest of any Basecamp model. That is the difference between sitting for ten minutes and sitting for an hour.
Mechanism — 360° rotation on a centre joint; the seat turns while the legs stay planted.
Warranty & Support
1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. Covers frame, fabric and stitching failures under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, weather exposure beyond the stated splash resistance, or normal wear.

30-day returns on unused items in original packaging, with the carry bag included.

FAQs
What does the rotating seat actually do?
The seat rotates a full 360° on a joint at the centre of the frame while the legs stay planted. You turn to face the fire, the view or the person talking to you without standing up or dragging the stool round on its legs. Very few compact stools in this size and price range offer it.
Is it comfortable enough to sit on for a while?
The seat has 2.5 cm of cushioning, the thickest of any Basecamp model. A typical compact stool uses a single stretched layer of fabric with no padding at all, which is fine for a few minutes and uncomfortable after that. Open, the stool stands 36 cm high with a 32 × 32 cm footprint.
Will it tip over on soft ground?
It uses four splayed legs rather than the three-leg tripod most compact stools use. The wider four-point footprint is what keeps it stable on grass, sand and uneven ground when you shift your weight or lean to one side. The frame is carbon steel and the stool is rated to 100 kg.
How small and light is it?
It weighs 0.67 kg and folds to 29 × 9 × 9 cm — smaller than a rolled towel, and light enough to clip to a backpack without noticing. That is despite the 100 kg load rating and the thicker cushioned seat.
Can I leave it out in the garden?
The 600D Oxford is splash resistant, so dew, spills and light drizzle bead off rather than soaking in. It is not waterproof though — bring it in from sustained rain and let it dry fully before folding it away. Open size is 32 × 32 × 36 cm and it holds up to 100 kg.
