How small does it actually fold?
It packs into a zip pouch measuring 28 × 10 × 6 cm, smaller than most sunglasses cases, and weighs 400 grams. That fits a daypack side pocket, a handbag, or the front sleeve of a laptop bag. Open, it stands 28 × 24 × 24 cm.
Can it really hold an adult at that weight?
Yes. The frame is carbon steel in a simple X configuration and the whole stool is rated to 100 kg, which is full adult use. The 400 gram weight comes from how little material the design needs, not from a lighter-duty frame.
Does it have a backrest?

Can I leave it out in the rain?
The 600D Oxford fabric is splash resistant, so dew, a spilled drink or light drizzle beads off rather than soaking in. It is not waterproof though — bring it in from sustained rain, and make sure it is dry before folding it back into the pouch.
